A height of 140 metres can be reached. The 360° circular rail around the entire dome, enabling any starting position on the outside. From there, people can simply telescope out and work safely aloft.

The machine inside the Swiss Re Tower dome is mounted in a compartment under the floor and be brought out quickly ready to work. After working the machine folds back in again and is covered up, making it invisible.
